WILLEMAN'S FLOWERS, Okolona, Ohio, has been specializing in weddings since 1986.  The work is all in the family at Willeman's with Florence designing; daughter Lynette manages the shop and is an interior and floral designer, and daughter Angela is a floral designer.  For over 30 years Florence has taught horticulture at Four County Career Center and often calls on her former students -- Lisa Maassel, Lisa Hall, Brenda Rettig, Janine Fintel, Kristina Wiemken, and Carolyn Arps (niece) -- to assist with special weddings or during the holidays.

Florence is proud member of OFA, an Association of Floriculture Professionals in Ohio.  She won distinction as the "Designer of the Year" while working for Teleflora a few years ago.  She also worked as a floral designer traveling to Pennsylvania, Michigan, Cleveland, and Columbus to display her talents during instructive conventions.  In 2002, Florence was one of the first 5 florists in the state to become an Ohio Certified Florist.
